Emu is a C++ library that implements data structures by using arrays. Linked lists are normally slower than arrays, hence arrays are preferred. Emu is mainly tuned to be suitable for local search algorithms. Local search algorithms iteratively perform incremental operations. Emu is specifically designed to be used exensively with Kangaroo library. Kangaroo is a constraint-based local search library written in C++. Emu is a header-only library and so separate compilation is not needed.
